Tammy Springer

Tammy is a teacher with the Monterey County Home Charter School. She has been with the school since November of 2000. Tammy serves on the Charter Advisory Board as the President. She is serving on the ARC Board because her daughter Kayleigh was diagnosed with arthritis at fifteen months of age, and at eight years old, she was diagnosed with Uveitis. She is now 18 years old.

Tammy is passionate about finding a cure for arthritis and all autoimmune diseases. Tammy strongly believes that no one young or older should have to suffer from a chronic disease, and everyone should have access to the medication they need. Tammy leads the Children’s Activities team for our popular Run Rudolph Run every year, and her husband volunteers as a carpenter for the event, as well.
