Jim Fuqua

Jim is the retired President and Founder of Fuqua and Baptist Management Co. Inc., a successful Investment/Development company. He has served on several business company Boards in the San Francisco Bay Area. He served on the Board of Directors of the Northern California Arthritis Foundation for 15+ years and founded the Central Coast Arthritis Foundation Leadership Board where he served as Board Chairman for 10+ years.

Jim is now the President of ARC. He has a personal commitment to the Arthritis Research Coalition's vision to defeat arthritis as several family members have arthritis including a daughter with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Jim founded ARC with Vice-Chair Karen Curtis, and quickly built a strong board of 18 community members who have a personal reason to fight arthritis with him. He is active with every one of ARC’s committees in addition to being one of ARC’s most persuasive fundraisers.
