Betsy Weisman

Betsy is retired from a career in public service management with experience in land use and project development while working as a Principal Planner for the cities of San Diego and Los Angeles. After retiring she started her own land use consulting firm and worked in the private sector.

She has long been active in her community and currently serves on the boards of the Museum of Contemporary Art Projects Council, The Blue Ribbon, and the Los Angeles Planning History Group. She is also a former school board member and former member of the California Architects Board.

She splits her time between homes in Pacific Grove and Los Angeles. She is excited to join the board of the Arthritis Research Coalition and to become involved with her community on the Peninsula. Arthritis has been the life’s work of her husband, Dr. Michael Weisman, and she has always supported organizations dedicated to prevention and treatment of the rheumatic diseases.
