Barbara Bartels, Ph.D.

Barbara is co-founder and president of Meaning-Centered Leadership; a company whose mission is to share the important impact that meaning has on organizational wealth and individual health and well-being.

Barbara serves as Chief Operating Officer for Early Care & Education Pathways to Success (ECEPTS), a nonprofit organization to address the needs of the Early Care and Education workforce. She is also an adjunct faculty member in both the School of Education and the School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Global, where she serves as both a dissertation chair and a dissertation committee member.

Barbara has a passion for organizational leadership, change management, inspirational-speaking, and motivational theory in the workplace. She is a published author and compelling speaker who engages the audience with ease and leaves them eager to hear more. She enjoys helping others achieve meaning in their work, their studies, and their lives.

Because arthritis has hit her family hard, she is devoted to defeating arthritis. ARC is grateful for her indispensable service on the Programs and Golf Committee.
