Anne Ajlouni
Anne is a retired educator, serving over 35 years as a classroom teacher, teacher coach, as well as a site administrator. Throughout her career, Anne has served on numerous committees, both within her district, as well as at the local and state level. Anne is honored to serve on the ARC’s Board, and contributes her skills in leadership and working collaboratively with others to help ARC make achievements in its mission.
Anne was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 23. Early in the progression of her disease, she was fortunate to participate in a successful clinical trial at Stanford University School of Medicine, Division of Immunology and Rheumatology. As a result of participating in this clinical trial she knows firsthand the importance of ongoing research and the impact the results can make for those who live daily with the effects of a chronic autoimmune disease.
